Paneer Taash Kabab Recipe
The ingredients are:
- 8 slices of cheese
- 1 cup of grated cheese
- 1 tablespoon of fresh cream
- ½ teaspoon of crushed peppercorn
- 2 tomatoes (medium sized)
- 2 onions (medium sized)
- 8 tablespoons of mint chutney
- 400 grams of cottage cheese (also known as paneer)
You will need the following ingredients for the marinade:
- 2 teaspoons of red chili powder
- 1/3 cup of Hung Yogurt
- 4 teaspoons of Ginger Garlic paste
- 2 tablespoons of Mustard oil
- 1 teaspoon of Garam Masala powder
- 1 teaspoon of Cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon of Coriander powder
- Chaat Masala and salt to taste
Here’s what you should do:
- Divide the paneer into seven pieces or slice it according to
your preferred thickness.
- Combine all the ingredients needed for marinating the paneer and
spread the mixture evenly.
- Let it stand for at least 15 minutes.
- Put the mint chutney on the paneer.
- Slice the onion and tomatoes. Place it on top of the paneer and
put the sliced cheese afterwards.
- Place paneer on the top of the sliced cheese and repeat the
process in number 5.
- In a separate container, mix the crushed peppercorn and the
cream. Pour it over the layer of paneer.
- Place the grated cheese on top and bake it at a moderate
temperature for about 10 minutes.
